After a serious rugby injury and a series of operations, I was told in 2009 that I would never engage in sport properly again. I proved this fact wrong when I ran my first marathon 6 months later. For the past 5 years I have competed in running races and triathlon and been quite successful. I have completed numerous marathons, ultra marathons and also completed several Ironman races and many middle distance triathlons. I believe that strength and conditioning plays an important part of any training and can prevent injury. As an athlete I am aware of how positive sports massage can be, not only to treat and prevent injuries but to maintain flexibility and improve performance. I also work closely with Bridgwater College in their Sports Clinic keeping the academy teams in top form.
